Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and maintain a close strategic connection between Allianz Technology’s core insurance backbone platforms and the Enterprise Architecture team.
  • •Interface with (lead) area architects and architecture organizations across retail/claims, digital sales and marketing, commercial, life, and health platforms.
  • •Own and drive the target architecture for the core insurance platform landscape.
  • •Prepare and steer architecture decision-making and governance (including ARB, DAB and GAB decisions).
  • •Own architecture risk management and drive standardization, harmonization, modernization, and decommissioning across the platform portfolio.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep enterprise and solution architecture expertise for core insurance platforms (P&C, life and/or health), shaping target architectures at group or global scale.
  • •Proven ability to drive architecture governance and decision-making in a large, federated organization while influencing senior stakeholders without direct reporting lines.
  • •Experience with platform modernization, harmonization, and legacy decommissioning, including associated architecture risk management.
  • •Basic knowledge of AI technology, principles, and practical use.
  • •10+ years of experience in IT architecture roles, including global or multi-entity insurance environments.
