Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment in an open pit quarry setting, safely and efficiently performing pit and mining operations. Conduct daily pre- and post-shift inspections with required documentation, follow OSHA/MSHA and company safety procedures, and follow direction from the foreman for daily tasks. Report issues to a manager, perform minor equipment servicing/maintenance, and assist with training less-experienced employees while supporting general labor duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate heavy equipment in pit and mining operations.

Key Requirements

•At least three years of experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., haul truck, motor grader, bulldozer, excavator, front end loader).

•Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical and be at least 18 years old.
•Provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document and strictly follow OSHA/MSHA and company safety procedures.
