Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver best practicable assessment outcome, in either repair cost or total loss (e.g., Closed File Reviews, Open File Reviews).
•Comply with motor assessing process, guidelines, allowances parts policy, severity coding requirements and repairer standards.
•Apply repair cost benchmarking, alternative parts reporting and scorecards to improve repairer performance.
•Contribute to improving the customer service of Selected and non-Selected repairers.
•Provide customers with access to the prompt resolution of complaints, including repair warranty, service related and other issues.

Key Requirements

•Trade qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience in panel beating, spray painting or motor mechanic; or significant experience as a motor insurance assessor, or completion of the CAC approved Certificate IV Vehicle Loss Assessing Course (desired).
•Experience in repair shop management/estimating and in motor vehicle assessing practices and in the provision of damaged vehicle quotations (desired).
•Quoting experience (desired).
•A current driver’s license.
•Good understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer and Repair Industry Code of Conduct.
