Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand customers’ processes and products and how they align with the function’s goals.
  • •Work with solution architects to review and validate detailed technical designs against business requirements and validate supplier estimates.
  • •Produce effort and cost estimates for new application functionality and perform quality review checks on deliverables.
  • •Collaborate on and review documentation of specifications and act as a liaison between business and IT.
  • •Participate in implementation activities, troubleshoot system environmental issues, and provide training as required; respond to application problem tickets as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • •At least 2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • •Strong understanding of insurance products and policy administration, claims, or underwriting processes.
  • •Experience with requirement gathering, process mapping, and UAT.
  • •Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
