Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist engineering and design tasks for industrial equipment such as air compressors, power tools, and fluid pumps.
  • •Create and release 3D parts/assemblies, 2D drawings, and technical documentation per Ingersoll Rand standards.
  • •Deliver component, assembly, or system-level design tasks, commitments, and participate in design reviews.
  • •Perform design calculations and apply methods such as DFMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
  • •Support design for manufacturing and assembly, prototype validation testing, and cross-functional/global collaboration.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering graduate or post graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •1–3 years of working with Creo, Solidworks, Inventor, or NX, preferably with complex mechanical components.
  • •Strong 3D CAD knowledge including solid modeling, drafting, and assembly.
  • •Experience with Windchill is a plus.
  • •Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) for productivity, problem-solving, and code/content generation.
