Job Summary

Design, implement, and manage enterprise VMware virtualization environments, including vSphere infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter), clusters, and core features like HA/DRS and vMotion. Key Responsibilities

•Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter Server) and administer clusters, resource pools, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
•Manage VM provisioning, templates, snapshots, and virtualization lifecycle management.
•Perform host upgrades, patching, and firmware updates to maintain virtualization platform health.
•Configure and manage VMware HA/DRS/FT and support disaster recovery planning, testing, and SRM where applicable.
•Provide L2/L3 support for virtualization issues, perform root cause analysis and incident resolution, and maintain performance/capacity and documentation.

Key Requirements

•5–10+ years of experience in VMware administration
•Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (6.x/7.x/8.x), ESXi host management, and vCenter Server
•Experience with HA, DRS, and vMotion
•Experience with storage technologies (SAN/NAS, with vSAN preferred) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs)
•Experience with patching, upgrades, and virtualization lifecycle management, including troubleshooting in Windows/Linux VM environments
