Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently for road, site, and highway construction/paving projects. Work in a team environment with co-workers, managers, and foremen, following daily task directions and maintaining safe job sites. Perform minor equipment servicing, daily pre- and post-inspections with documentation, and assist in training less-experienced employees while supporting general labor needs as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment used in road, site, or highway construction and paving.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
•Perform minor servicing/maintenance; refer major problems to the foreman.
•Complete daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
•Follow foreman directions for daily tasks and assist in training less-experienced employees and general labor when needed.
