Perform mechanical maintenance for safety and non-safety systems at a nuclear power plant, including planned/corrective maintenance, surveillances, troubleshooting, and periodic performance tests. Prepare and stage maintenance work, support outage and emergency response as assigned (including possible shift/off-hours support), oversee maintenance teams during pre- and post-job briefings, and maintain accurate equipment history and material master data in plant systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform planned and corrective mechanical maintenance and surveillances for mechanical plant systems, structures, and components to ensure proper functioning.
•Maintain safety and non-safety equipment including pumps, valves, HVAC, chillers, heat exchangers, EDG and diesel generators, cranes/hoists, and balance-of-plant equipment.
•Prepare and stage maintenance work, including submitting procurement requests for spare parts and special tools.
•Attend pre- and post-job briefings, oversee maintenance teams, and ensure alignment with maintenance standards and procedures.
•Document equipment history reports, conduct periodic/surveillance tests, update equipment/material master data, comply with maintenance code of conduct, and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Key Requirements

•High School education.
•2 years of relevant experience.
•Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
•3 years nuclear power plant operating experience, including 1 year in the mechanical field (preferred).
•Ability to perform mechanical maintenance activities safely and reliably in accordance with procedures and processes.
