Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the robotics AI roadmap and data strategy, defining collected data, hardware/embodiments, and sourcing across internal and marketplace channels.
  • •Build partnerships with frontier research teams and robotics startups to understand policy gaps and shape product lines and competitive strategy.
  • •Design and scale robotics data products and environments, including collection pipelines, annotation tooling, simulated tasks, and evaluation frameworks.
  • •Translate research needs into training products by partnering with ML and Operations to meet quality, throughput, and cost targets.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to drive mission-critical outcomes across research, operations, and customer interactions, including travel ~10–15%.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of direct experience in robotics or physical AI, including robot learning/manipulation research, teleoperation and data collection systems, robotics software/hardware engineering, or a robotics product role.
  • •Physical AI fluency: immersed in current physical AI research and able to explain how the field is moving.
  • •A builder’s mindset to create new products from the ground up in ambiguous environments.
  • •Product or customer-facing experience shaping roadmaps or owning outcomes with technical stakeholders (formal PM experience a plus).
  • •A degree in Robotics or a related quantitative field (Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
