Key Responsibilities

  • •Orient and instruct new drivers on job duties and assist the supervisor in assigning and directing employees’ work.
  • •Communicate with supervisor/manager to ensure proper vehicle flow and maintain logs of stock numbers and vehicle lot locations.
  • •Coordinate schedules and assignments to crew members and manage transport logistics for employees and vehicles.
  • •Perform daily van maintenance and routine checks, including cleaning and servicing the vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
  • •Lead the location team by modeling Cox/Manheim values, ensuring respectful treatment, enforcing policies, and supporting performance improvements using KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field, or an alternative combination including a degree/certification beyond HS/GED or 5 years of related experience.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving ability.
  • •Ability to communicate with supervisor/manager to maintain proper vehicle flow and inventory/log of stock numbers and lot locations.
  • •Ability to manage van/transport operations, ensure timely pick-up/drop-off, and shuttle employees and vehicles as scheduled.
  • •Commitment to safety and cooperation with the Market Safety Manager; follow all safety and health procedures.
