Job Summary

Lead technical program delivery for factory automation initiatives, from early concept and requirements through vendor engagement, RFQ/RFP documentation, and FAT/SAT commissioning. Partner with factory teams, engineers, and suppliers to design and deploy automated equipment that meets Dandy’s automation and quality standards. Track and report performance metrics like OEE, yield, CpK, and FMEA, driving continuous improvement, escalation, and executive updates while targeting ambitious OKRs.

•Drive the technical, operational, and deployment execution of manufacturing automation initiatives.
•Innovate factory processes and design automation concepts into an ideal automated manufacturing process.
•Create RFQ/RFP documentation for automated equipment requirements, delivery schedules, and acceptance qualification at supplier and factory.
•Engage vendors to build and align machines to Dandy specifications and approve vendor process, process flow, and equipment design.
•Design and execute FAT/SAT and commissioning, then integrate machines into factories while tracking OEE/yield metrics (CpK, FMEA) to drive continuous improvement.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 152,200 - 179,100 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years in advanced manufacturing and high-speed custom automation, including technical program management and translating NPI into large-scale automation solutions.
•Ability to prioritize AMEs and suppliers from conceptual design through SAT and production team training.
•Experience managing high-budget automation projects, tracking vendor spend, and handling value engineering, NRE, and RFQ-to-PO processes.
•Strong technical problem-solving skills to perform root-cause analysis in high-pressure environments.
•BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering or an allied technical subject.
