Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF Quality Management policies and procedures while performing essential duties.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems with equipment.
  • •Replace and repair broken or worn parts; modify equipment to meet changing manufacturing requirements.
  • •Install new equipment and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • •Perform limited facility maintenance tasks (e.g., masonry work, plumbing fixture and woodwork repairs) and maintain/install electrical systems, conduits, and water/steam/air piping.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 25.95 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in an accredited university or technical school seeking a degree or diploma in a maintenance field (e.g., mechanical, automation, refrigeration, industrial/prod maintenance, or electrical) and maintaining enrollment.
  • •General knowledge of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, refrigeration and/or automation.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment problems.
  • •Ability to perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting/moving up to 50 pounds (and up to 100 pounds with assistance), working at heights, and driving a forklift.
  • •Strong communication and reasoning skills (oral comprehension/expression, deductive/inductive reasoning, visualization) for maintenance tasks.
