Job Summary

Provide product knowledge and customer-facing support for building material orders, taking sales counter and phone orders for items like drywall, insulation, metal studs, ceiling systems, and stucco. Collaborate with Outside Sales and Sales Managers on sales approaches, handle objections, and emphasize product and service features to drive purchases.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide product knowledge for building materials to assist customer purchases.
•Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone, and enter them into the company computer system.
•Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
•Build relationships with customers and overcome objections.
•Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine strategic sales approaches, quote prices, and discuss credit terms.
