Job Summary

Drive growth for Kerry’s Taste & Nutrition business in Ontario (primarily Toronto) by acquiring new business, defending existing accounts, and leading cross-functional initiatives. Build value-added product solutions, manage a diverse portfolio, and develop strategic relationships with customers (R&D, Procurement, and management) while traveling weekly to the Toronto region.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect and close new business opportunities with new and current customers through standard product, custom product and integrated solution selling.
•Proactively defend current business and manage a large portfolio of diverse projects across Kerry functions in order to service key customers using Salesforce.
•Comfortable working with a diverse portfolio including flavors and proactive health technologies for different market segments and channels.
•Entrepreneurial with a sense of urgency and customer focus mindset.
•Creativity, value proposition selling and excellent customer management skills are needed to continue, support and grow existing platforms and identify new categories where value-added products can be created.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 91,800 - 156,300 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in food science, business or a related field.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales within the food & beverage or supplements industry; experience in selling taste solutions is a significant asset.
•Technical background or R&D experience highly preferred.
•Autonomous and entrepreneurial, with a desire to treat their accounts as their own business.
•Willingness to travel weekly to the Toronto/Greater Toronto region, with overnights up to 25% to visit customers and Kerry offices/sites.
