•Lead security engineering solutions focused on infrastructure automation, cloud governance, and secure onboarding for new workloads and teams.
•Design, maintain, and enhance Terraform-based security guardrails using reusable modules and policy-as-code automation.
•Participate in code reviews to improve secure coding practices and design quality.
•Develop automation tools and security guardrails to streamline developer workflows, including Java/Python automations and GitLab IaC gate checks.
•Mentor engineers on IaC best practices, cloud identity management, and least-privilege principles, including AWS IAM reviews and resource policy configuration.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience with 5+ years progressive engineering and/or security experience.
•Extensive AWS experience, including developing guardrails and detective controls.
•Strong Infrastructure as Code expertise, especially Terraform (reusable modules, policy-as-code with OPA or Trivy, multi-account deployment patterns).
•Experience automating AWS guardrails, baseline configurations, identity bindings, and logging/monitoring controls.
•Strong knowledge of AWS IAM (roles, permission boundaries, SCPs, and RCPs) and GitLab CI/CD pipeline automation for guardrail checks and deployment controls.
