Job Summary

Drive a dump truck (truck and pup or truck and transfer) to deliver sand, gravel, crushed rock, or asphalt to construction sites and customers around Eugene. Follow safety requirements and applicable DOT/OSHA/MSHA rules, operate safely on paved and off-road conditions, monitor gauges, and perform minor maintenance. Handle delivery tickets and invoices, maintain required logs and records, and coordinate with dispatch while supporting other production tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a dump truck safely and efficiently to deliver construction materials to job sites and customers.
•Monitor vehicle gauges, investigate abnormalities, and perform operator maintenance and minor field repairs.
•Communicate with dispatch and follow instructions.
•Check delivery tickets for special instructions, load materials safely, obtain required signatures, and complete invoice information.
•Maintain operator logs, time cards, mileage sheets, and other records; use Zonar and Trackit; assist with other production tasks as needed.

Key Requirements

•Valid Class A CDL and current interstate DOT medical card.
•Ability to operate a manual transmission.
•Safety-minded performance with good attendance and punctuality.

•Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends/holidays as needed while complying with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and company/state rules.
