Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure uptime and excellent baseline performance of HPC systems in Germany and the USA.
  • •Set up EPYC CPU and Instinct GPU systems and assist customers/partners with BIOS and Linux configuration for optimal performance.
  • •Characterize applications on EPYC/Instinct systems and document testing results.
  • •Perform testing on early CPU samples and provide feedback to Engineering, Architecture, Platform, Software, and Product Development teams.
  • •Create training materials, deliver training at customer sites, mentor frontline Field Application Engineering, and automate repeatable procedures.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Clear track record of managing HPC systems with demonstrable experience.
  • •Understanding of the HPC ecosystem including toolchains, parallel file systems, high-performance networks, and batch managers.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a good level of business English.
  • •Strong familiarity with Redhat/Ubuntu/SLES and experience maintaining HPC systems and middleware.
  • •Ability to install and maintain compilers (C/C++)/Fortran and math libraries, and work with relevant CPU/GPU performance tooling and settings.
