Job Summary

Partner with a 20-person AEBC India Controllership team to support RBI and external regulatory reporting. Prepare and scrutinize RBI returns and statements, review daily and month-end accounting entries for India GAAP compliance, and support RBI inspection and statutory audit inputs. Perform deep-dive analysis of P&L and balance sheet, drive variance analysis with governance/business commentaries, and monitor RBI notifications, quality, and change control across financial processes.

•Prepare and scrutinize returns and statements filed with RBI in accordance with RBI guidelines.
•Review daily and month-end accounting entries to ensure compliance with RBI reporting and India GAAP accounting rules.
•Prepare inputs required for RBI inspection and statutory audit.
•Perform regular reviews and deep-dive analysis of the legal entity P&L and balance sheet, including variance analysis and business commentaries.
•Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly external and regulatory reporting; keep abreast of RBI notifications and support quality and change control for financial processes.

Key Requirements

•CA, CPA, MBA finance, or B.Com with 6+ years of relevant experience in India regulatory reporting.
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Strong financial accounting/reporting background including IFRS, IGAAP, and USGAAP.
•Understanding of banking regulatory requirements and RBI guidelines (preferred).
•Strong process orientation with analytical problem-solving and demonstrated process improvement.
