Job Summary

Join NTT DATA UK’s Data Practice to build production-ready machine learning solutions for enterprise clients. You’ll develop forecasting, classification, recommendation, clustering, and anomaly detection models using Python and SQL, perform EDA and feature engineering, and support evaluation, deployment handover, and continuous improvement. Work closely with data engineers, architects, and consultants across Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric, translating business problems into measurable analytical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop machine learning models for forecasting, classification, recommendation, optimisation, clustering and anomaly detection.
•Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyse structured and semi-structured datasets, including EDA, feature engineering, training, validation and evaluation.
•Build reusable notebooks, scripts and pipelines to support repeatable machine learning delivery.
•Work with clients and consultants to translate business problems into analytical tasks, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes.
•Collaborate on platform enablement using Snowflake, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric; contribute to MLOps practices including model versioning, deployment handover, monitoring, and ongoing improvement.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of commercial experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or Advanced Analytics.
•Strong hands-on Python experience for data analysis, feature engineering and model development.
•Strong SQL skills working with complex or sizeable datasets.
•Solid understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, statistical modelling, validation, model evaluation and optimisation.
•Experience using Python-based machine learning libraries such as Scikit-Learn and at least one of XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Education:Master's in MSc (or equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline
