Job Summary

Support the Chef Manager in running the kitchen at The Sidcup Care Home, preparing and cooking nutritious, high-quality meals from fresh ingredients. Create menus that meet residents’ dietary needs, help lead and train the kitchen team, and maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness to HACCP/COSHH standards. Assist with stock control, ordering, and budget management, while helping deliver special events and a great dining experience.

•Lead, train, and motivate kitchen team members in food preparation, cooking, and service standards.
•Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in line with HACCP, COSHH, and company procedures, including stock control and ordering.
