Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate filling equipment on 1st shift (5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mon–Thur) and maintain production throughput.
  • •Perform fast barrel change-outs within standard process time, including removal, installation, and run-off of new barrels.
  • •Recognize, troubleshoot, and correct pump and related equipment operating problems during the process.
  • •Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment to standard time and ensure proper operation.
  • •Maintain clean, safe work environment and complete all production and quality paperwork required of the process.

  • •Capable of operating at least one machine/value stream as part of the process.
  • •Understand and execute all safety requirements associated with equipment and process.
  • •Operate material handling/moving equipment including a fork truck, pallet mover, and barrel cart.
  • •Complete barrel change-outs in the standard five-minute process, including installation, hook up, approved run-off, and disposition of empty barrels.
  • •Troubleshoot pump and related equipment problems and disassemble/clean/reassemble equipment within standard time.
