Job Summary

Lead the Southeast Asia SRE team for TikTok Shop, building reliability practices across critical, large-scale distributed services. Drive cross-team cooperation and project management to improve efficiency, stability, security, cost, and quality. Develop compliant processes for access, configuration, disaster recovery, and fault handling, and implement automation, monitoring, and observability improvements. Manage on-call response and escalation to minimize downtime while partnering with product engineering on scalable platform tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and manage the Southeast Asia SRE team, including recruitment, training, system operations/maintenance coordination, and team culture.
•Improve cross-team and regional cooperation mechanisms and provide SRE solutions aligned to business scenarios.
•Lead SRE project management and team arrangements to increase effectiveness and overall SRE efficiency.
•Develop process specifications and plans for compliant access, configuration, disaster recovery, and fault handling for critical overseas SRE services.
•Drive automation, monitoring/visualization, tool and platform engineering, and manage on-call/escalation processes to minimize downtime.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline, with good English communication skills.
•Experience building and running SRE systems and familiarity with SRE processes and industry SRE technology trends.
•Demonstrable experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, or Go, plus scripting with Shell and Python.
•Expertise in operations, deployment, high availability, and quality assurance for large-scale distributed systems with a focus on stability and performance.
•Strong ability to analyze and solve problems with a proactive, responsible team mindset.
