Key Responsibilities

  • •Raise the engineering bar across the team through design review, mentoring, and pragmatic technical standards.
  • •Own identity services end to end, from design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing operation.
  • •Support urgent customer and operational incidents by diagnosing and resolving issues quickly, and preventing recurrence.
  • •Balance feature delivery with reliability and availability of identity infrastructure operating at high request volume.
  • •Set technical direction and make principled architectural trade-offs across reliability, availability, consistency, and security, shaping the identity roadmap.

  • •Production-grade backend engineering at Staff level, with a track record of owning systems across team boundaries.
  • •Experience driving initiatives from design through implementation, deployment, and operation.

  • •Experience building and operating reliable, high-throughput services while balancing delivery and uptime.
  • •Depth in identity and access platforms such as SSO, OIDC, SCIM, and session management (plus familiarity with modern cloud native infrastructure such as EKS, Aurora, and Redis).
