Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver aircraft maintenance under Boeing’s MAA MRP Part 145 approval or under the approval of the MOD customer.
  • •Supervise technicians by planning, sequencing, distributing, and controlling technical work for a small group of aircraft technicians.
  • •Ensure contractual/regulatory compliance and that aircraft paperwork standards/certification are completed IAW company procedures.
  • •Perform routine troubleshooting of complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical/electronic) and repair components IAW authorised maintenance documents.
  • •Exercise oversight for apprentices/trainees as directed, mitigate immediate risks (including stop work), and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluent written and spoken English.
  • •Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or equivalent trade experience.
  • •Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and aviation processes (including Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health & safety, and COSHH).
  • •Working knowledge of MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MAA Regulatory Publication (MRP) Part 145, aviation Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management System (SMS) for your responsibility and authority.
  • •Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
