Job Summary

Operate, monitor, and maintain portable and stationary crushing and screening equipment to produce sand, gravel, and aggregate materials. Start up, adjust, and shut down plant equipment, perform routine inspections, and monitor material flow, product sizing, and production rates to meet quality specs. Troubleshoot and handle minor repairs, complete required production/maintenance reports, and follow safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including MSHA procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate crushing, screening, conveying, and related aggregate processing equipment.
•Start up, monitor, adjust, and shut down crushing plant equipment according to established procedures.
•Conduct routine inspections of crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and associated equipment.
•Monitor material flow, product sizing, and production rates; identify equipment issues and perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs.
•Perform preventive maintenance, maintain clean work areas per company and MSHA standards, complete reports, and follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Previous experience operating crushing, screening, aggregate processing, mining, or heavy construction equipment is preferred.
•Experience in aggregate production, quarry operations, or heavy civil construction is strongly preferred.
•MSHA training or ability to obtain required certifications.
•Working knowledge of aggregate crushing and screening processes.
