Job Summary

Own the linguistic direction and quality bar for all Russian localization across the 2K game portfolio. As the key Russian language authority on the Content Localization (CLOC) team, you’ll set glossaries and style guidance, review and edit in-game text, UI, scripts, and VO, and serve as the main escalation point for tone and QA issues. You’ll also collaborate with producers, LQA, studios, and the Age Rating team to ensure cultural and compliance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the localization strategy, quality bar, and final sign-off for Russian content across all 2K titles.
•Develop and enforce glossaries, style guides, and cultural content policies for the Russian market.
•Review and edit localized content (in-game text, UI, scripts, VO) for tone, clarity, fluency, and cultural relevance.
•Lead VO casting, script review, and direct creative sessions during Russian voiceover production.
•Supervise entry- and mid-level linguists or vendors and drive process improvements to reduce errors and improve turnaround time.

Key Requirements

•Professional localization experience in games, tech, or entertainment.
•Native fluency in Russian with mastery of tone, grammar, and regional nuance.
•Advanced English fluency (written and spoken) to represent language decisions across global teams.
•Deep understanding of the regional gaming landscape, pop culture, and evolving localization methodologies.
•Familiarity with localization tools such as CAT tools, translation memory systems, XLOC, JIRA, and CMS.
