Job Summary

AECOM is seeking Structural Engineers and Designers at all levels to join our Southeast Transportation team. You’ll work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects, on bridge design and related structural packages, using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and other bridge design tools, in a hybrid work model based out of a Columbia, SC office.

Job Function: Construction, Civil & Site Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in developing design packages for bridge design projects and other structural components.
•Collaborate on Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects and contribute to mega-projects.
•Utilize Bentley Suite tools (MicroStation, OpenRoads) and related bridge design software to create and refine designs.
•Support all aspects of retaining wall design and superstructure/substructure elements.
•Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and cost-effective transportation infrastructure.

Key Requirements

•BS in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Structural CAD Designers)
•BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience (Junior Level Engineers)
•BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience (Mid-Level Engineers)
•BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience (Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads)
•EIT Certification or PE License
