Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and manage Azure networking components including VNets, subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN/ExpressRoute, load balancers, and routing.
  • •Manage replication traffic over ExpressRoute/VPN and support configuration isolation VNETs for testing.
  • •Serve as the POC for Azure networking issues, guiding architecture decisions and advising leadership.
  • •Ensure secure and reliable connectivity between cloud and on-prem environments, optimizing performance and availability.
  • •Oversee system changes to meet compliance requirements, including applying DISA STIGs/hardening guidelines and supporting workload migrations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • •10+ years of related experience; at least 5+ years experience in database and data management.
  • •Must currently possess active Secret clearance and be able to maintain it; US citizenship required.
  • •Extensive Azure networking design and implementation experience, including VNets, NSGs, routing, Azure Firewall, load balancing, and ExpressRoute/VPN in IL5/IL6 environments.
  • •Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps tools (Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) plus advanced Ansible or PowerShell scripting; CompTIA Security+ required.
