Key Responsibilities

  • •Define micro-architecture for out-of-order CPU core mechanisms and complex allocation/resource management.
  • •Develop RTL and drive implementation of micro-architectural features in Intel’s high-performance CPU cores.
  • •Own feature lifecycle from architecture exploration through RTL development, validation support, debug, and tape-in readiness.
  • •Lead significant design efforts and facilitate micro-architectural tradeoff discussions.
  • •Collaborate closely with architecture, verification, physical design, power-performance, and post-silicon teams to ensure successful delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •At least 5 years of experience in RTL logic design and development using SystemVerilog.
  • •Strong understanding of computer architecture, micro-architecture, and digital design principles.
  • •Experience defining and implementing complex micro-architectural features.
  • •Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with ability to independently drive features through implementation and validation.
