Job Summary

Perform routine pipeline design engineering tasks to support the Pipeline discipline under close supervision and mentoring. Use existing pipeline procedures to complete standard analyses, calculations, and design reports, while organizing work to meet deadlines. Contribute to project understanding, prepare/review MTOs, review vendor data, and support piping deliverables such as P&IDs, piping specifications, line lists, and material/valve specifications. Assist with pipe stress fundamentals and simple Caesar II stress analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic engineering tasks.
•Complete routine assignments under close supervision and mentoring, using existing Pipeline procedures.
•Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures.
•Prepare/review MTOs for requisitions and review vendor data with guidance.
•Become familiar with and assist on piping deliverables including P&IDs, line lists, equipment layouts, plot plans, piping specifications, and design basis; support pipe stress calculations and simple Caesar II analysis.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
•0-3 years of experience in oil and gas.
•Learn and apply relevant standards, codes, and guidelines; be familiar with codes and standards.
•Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or a member of a professional engineering society.
•Working knowledge of English (oral and written) and comfort with HSE and TQM expectations.
