Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead geotechnical investigations, analysis, design, and reporting for transportation, municipal, building, environmental, and energy projects; ensure on-time delivery and quality.
  • •Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and drafters from conceptual design through final design.
  • •Prepare proposals and write geotechnical reports for varying project scopes and maintain high standards of documentation.
  • •Coordinate with drafting teams and external subcontractors; manage field activities including drilling and traffic control coordination.
  • •Travel within Canada as required and contribute to growth of the geotechnical practice in Canada.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in civil or geotechnical engineering; currently registered as an Engineer (P.Eng)
  • •4+ years of industry experience in civil/geotechnical engineering across transportation, municipal, energy, utilities, building structures, and commercial projects
  • •Strong commitment to safety
  • •Proficiency with geotechnical software (PLAXIS, RS2/RS3, Slide, GeoStudio, Settle3D, All Piles, gINT)
  • •Construction oversight and QA/QC experience; ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with drafting teams
