Job Summary

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of major highway and road infrastructure projects in Dubai and across the UAE/Middle East. Provide technical authority for geometric design, alignments, cross-sections, and highway elements, coordinating with structures, drainage, utilities, traffic, and environmental teams. Prepare technical reports and tender documents, engage with authorities, and mentor multidisciplinary engineers while supporting proposal and client relationship efforts.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and delivery of highway and road infrastructure projects, including expressways, urban roads, interchanges, junction improvements, and active mobility corridors.
•Provide technical leadership and oversight for geometric design and related highway elements in line with UAE and international standards.
•Coordinate and integrate designs with other disciplines (structures, drainage, utilities, traffic, and environmental teams).
•Act as technical authority for complex engineering challenges, ensuring safety, sustainability, and constructability requirements are met.
•Prepare and review technical reports and tender documents; engage with clients/authorities and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
•15+ years of relevant experience in highway engineering and design, preferably on major UAE or GCC infrastructure projects.
•Chartered / Professional Engineer status (CEng, PE, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
•Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams delivering highway and road infrastructure projects.
•Comprehensive knowledge of regional authority standards (RTA, DM, ADM) and international highway design codes (AASHTO, DMRB, etc.).
