Key Responsibilities

•Translate and implement company-wide HSE guidelines into concrete operational measures tailored to our logistics hubs
•Conduct and advance risk assessments under ArbSchG, including documentation and follow-up actions
•Lead accident analyses, investigate root causes, and derive sustainable preventive measures
•Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental laws (ArbSchG, BetrSichV, GefStoffV, BImSchG, DGUV)
•Perform regular site inspections and audits; actively train and coach leaders to identify hazards and improve safety culture

Key Requirements

•Completed studies/ training in safety, environmental sciences or a related field
•3–5 years of relevant EHS/HSE experience, ideally in a distribution center or warehouse with understanding of traffic safety and fleet management
•Solid knowledge of German occupational safety and environmental law (ArbSchG, BetrSichV, GefStoffV, DGUV rules), logistics safety requirements, fire protection guidelines (ASR) and environmental and permitting requirements under BImSchG; additional ISO 45001/14001 knowledge is a plus
•Fluent German and English (minimum C1)
•Analytical, structured, problem-solving mindset with ability to translate complex safety issues into actionable strategies
•Strong communication and advisory skills when working with operational teams
•Team-oriented with a passion for cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement of safety
