Job Summary

Own and improve the end-to-end experience for international payments and related FX journeys across mobile, browser/online, and contact centre channels. As an SME for Wealth & Personal Banking (CIIOM), ensure procedures, controls, and operational playbooks are accurate and SLA-aligned, lead investigations for payment queries and complaints, and coordinate cross-team delivery and pragmatic fixes for issues including BNCR, recalls, and returns.

Key Responsibilities

•Own and improve international payments and FX end-to-end customer experience across mobile, browser/online, and contact centre channels.
•Act as an SME for Wealth & Personal Banking (WPB) products within CIIOM, guiding proposition, customer journey, pricing, and performance.
•Support design and delivery of strategic initiatives to meet the CIIOM Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and improve the Customer Recommendation Index (CRI).
•Maintain knowledge of international payments servicing and exception handling, ensuring procedures and guidance are accurate and SLA-aligned.
•Provide case leadership for international payments queries and complaints, structuring investigations, allocating actions, tracking to closure, and ensuring clear written outcomes.

Key Requirements

•Proficiency using tools and concepts to track and diagnose issues end-to-end, including International Payment Tracker, payment limits, error codes, hub transactions, and payment confirmations.
•Practical understanding of payment rails and routing (SWIFT, CHAPS, SEPA, Faster Payments) and MWS payment initiation/servicing.
•Ability to map complex payment flows and understand SLAs and dependencies at each step, including FX.
•Strong stakeholder management and escalation skills to progress delayed credits, investigations, and refunds/returns within agreed timelines.
•Support end-to-end change execution by translating insights into requirements, influencing prioritisation, coordinating readiness (procedures, training, sign-offs), and tracking outcomes.
