Key Responsibilities

•Underwrite new and renewal Financial Lines accounts to meet top and bottom-line targets, negotiating participation, pricing and terms with brokers while proactively managing capacity.
•Underwrite in line with LoB governance, ensuring contract certainty at inception and utilization of global pricing tools, including placing and binding FAC Reinsurance.
•Ensure accurate policy documentation and file maintenance, supporting policy administration and credit control processes.
•Draft, review and update policy wordings and forms, support Global Master Templates and Multinational capabilities, and contribute to Product Oversight and Governance documentation.
•Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients, coordinating with Marketing, Risk Consulting, Claims and Operations to drive regional underwriting efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 7 to 10 years of proven underwriting experience in LoB with a track record of profitability
•Good understanding of LoB products, portfolio and regional/local markets
•Completion of professional insurance qualification (e.g., CII) and preferably a degree in Economics, Law or related discipline
•Fluency in English; ability to negotiate in local language is a plus
•Strong analytical, communication, presentation and influencing skills; ability to work in a complex, global matrix organization
