Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage all purchasing activities for assigned goods and raw materials, including sourcing, negotiations, order placement, and follow-up.
  • •Negotiate prices and lead times with vendors outside corporate contracts and resolve supplier quotation conflicts.
  • •Review drawings and specifications to estimate quantities/types of materials and determine the best source of procurement.
  • •Plan and place material purchase orders to align material flow with MPS/MRP and support production to avoid line stoppages.
  • •Monitor supplier delivery performance using KPIs, run shortage meetings, and support improvement via escalations, follow-ups, and supplier visits.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven materials management and purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • •Proven record of cost down achievements, including improving NWC through payment terms and inventory reduction.
  • •Experience with scheduling using MRP/MPS and consignment stocking, with strong problem-solving initiative.
