Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expertise, guidance, and support to procurement employees and suppliers, cascading critical information via directives, guidelines, and training programs.
  • •Execute day-to-day risk management under the Foundation Program by identifying regulatory infringements, monitoring obsolescence, and implementing corrective actions.
  • •Lead strategic initiatives and work-packages to support long-term value chain circularity and upcoming environmental procurement milestones.
  • •Identify synergies across procurement divisions and affiliates to deliver a unified corporate front toward the supplier network.
  • •Act as procurement representative in multi-functional teams and represent Airbus in external aerospace forums (e.g., IAEG, GIFAS, ASSC) to advocate for substance usage and standards.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Procurement, Engineering, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), or a technical discipline with an ability to understand how substance regulations impact aerospace products and processes.
  • •Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably within Airbus or a similarly complex, highly regulated transnational manufacturing environment.
  • •Good knowledge of procurement organization and activities, combined with strong project management experience.
  • •Technical curiosity to dive deep into chemical/substance regulations and administrative compliance dossiers.
  • •Excellent stakeholder management skills, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to foster positive dynamics while managing change.
