Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families at assigned installations.
  • •Conduct one-on-one counseling, consultations, briefings, presentations, and provide referral resources outside counseling sessions.
  • •Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences and develop informational financial materials.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle, including arrival, pre- and post-deployment, and other events.
  • •Communicate with leadership and participate in individual and group supervision, in-services/training, and duty-to-warn management per DoD protocol.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider associate degree plus 4 years of experience or high school diploma plus 6 years of experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • •Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass OCI process; must hold AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
