Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with mixed-signal IC engineers to integrate optimized designs into the ASIC.
  • •Lead efforts for a large block on a complex chip, architecting, designing, laying out, measuring, and productizing analog designs.

  • •Participate in peer review of complex IC designs and provide solid design methodology from conception to production.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors + 8 years of related experience, or Masters + 6 years, or PhD + 3 years.
  • •Design, simulation, and measurement of high speed ICs in at least 3 areas including high speed serial links, output drivers, phase locked loops, clock transmission, opamps/PGAAs, or equalization techniques.
  • •Experience with high-frequency layout and floorplanning (power/ground, digital/analog signal routing) and passives (inductors, transformers, transmission lines).
  • •Experience in design for manufacturability including characterization over PVT and analyses such as electromigration, self-heating, and IR drop.
  • •Experience in laboratory validation including ESD practices and building test setups.
