Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Connect architecture and reliability, maintaining uptime/latency and an alerting/on-call model to meet the 1-business-day export SLA.
  • •Drive the distributed system design across AWS services, per-tenant Windows EC2 worker fleets, and a customer-installed Windows agent.
  • •Own data-entry accuracy via a QA program that improves mapping correctness and prior-year overrides, scaling toward automated regression testing.
  • •Run daily export queue operations and automate operational work to reduce the need for manual heroics.
  • •Lead onboarding of new firms (credentials, MFA, security reviews, agent installs, and test exports) and decide the Connect roadmap using usage data.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years building and running production software, including leading a team, platform, or product area you were accountable for.
  • •Hands-on ability to read and write Python, review PRs for systems you didn’t build, and reason about Postgres query plans.
  • •Deep AWS infrastructure experience including EC2, autoscaling, AMI/launch templates, ECS/Fargate, Terraform, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
  • •Prior ownership of reliability work: alerting, on-call rotations, incident response, and reducing alert noise.
  • •Strong communication and judgment about automating manual processes; goal-oriented and self-directing in a domain-led role.
