Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in server and network deployments and upgrades within a production data center.
  • •Run fiber optic and copper cabling to support growing infrastructure.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment at various stages using command line tools to identify and remediate issues.
  • •Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot infrastructure hardware including servers, switches, and PDUs; integrate hardware into production.
  • •Join a weekly on-call rotation, sometimes travel to other data center locations around Frankfurt, and document port matrices.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience managing servers and/or data centers to support business goals.
  • •Familiarity with copper and optical network cabling, including fiber optic and copper runs.
  • •Basic familiarity with Linux and command line interfaces, with experience troubleshooting equipment using CLI tools.
  • •Understanding of power cabling and PDUs (Power Distribution Units).
  • •Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work independently while meeting deadlines and meeting customer-focused expectations.
