Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Senior Scientist in designing, developing, and evaluating novel polymer materials and formulations for product applications.
  • •Plan and execute laboratory experiments independently, including synthesis and dipping experiments, to generate high-quality data and technical insights.
  • •Support scale-up of laboratory formulations and processes from lab through pilot and commercial factories.
  • •Investigate structure–property–performance relationships and apply scientific principles to solve material and process challenges.
  • •Contribute to identifying, assessing, and implementing new materials, technologies, and external innovation opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields; or a master’s with exceptional research capability and at least 3 years of R&D experience in polymer materials.
  • •Hands-on experience in polymer material formulation and product-focused innovation, including structure–property–performance understanding.
  • •Ability to independently design experiments, analyze complex data, and derive actionable conclusions.
  • •Strong understanding of polymer chemistry, material characterization, and formulation development.
  • •Strong publication record and/or demonstrated achievements in patent generation (preferred).
