Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently operate transfer and/or dump trucks (end dumps and/or belly dumps), including units with pups and tarping systems.
  • •Deliver aggregates, including asphalt, to residential and commercial locations in accordance with CRH safety policies.
  • •Maintain time and material records.
  • •Follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively via two-way radio.
  • •Perform maneuvers and backing with a pup trailer, including connecting and disconnecting the pup trailer.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required, with 1–2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
  • •Must possess a valid state CDL Class A with double/triple and air brake endorsements.

  • •Incident-free driving record preferred.
  • •Ability to communicate using two-way radio and follow verbal and written instructions.
