Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scenarios for inventory availability, order promising, sourcing, and fulfillment across distributed commerce platforms.
  • •Create automated, high-concurrency test scenarios to verify oversell prevention and correct inventory reservation/allocation for competing orders.
  • •Identify, document, and track defects; perform initial failure analysis; verify fixes; and maintain regression coverage.
  • •Validate sourcing and fulfillment optimization logic (routing decisions, cost, delivery speed, inventory utilization, node capacity, markdown-avoidance objectives).
  • •Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, build API/integration/contract testing suites for OMS integrations (WMS, ERP, POS, payment providers, and 3PL/carrier systems), and contribute to quality gates and release-readiness evidence.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software quality assurance, preferably in commerce, order management, inventory, or supply-chain platforms.
  • •Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated tests for APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • •Experience with Java and automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured, Selenium, or Playwright (or equivalent).
  • •Experience with API, integration, contract, and regression testing.
  • •Understanding of inventory concepts (availability, reservations, allocation, ATP/ATS) and concurrency/data-consistency risks in high-volume systems.
