Job Summary

Own Origin’s strategic finance engine for expansion—building the P&L, forecasting, and long-range growth models, and driving unit economics across products, pricing, and partnerships. Lead investment-grade metrics and board/investor reporting, and run the analytics/BI and finance team to deliver clean books and a single source of truth. Partner with the CEO on capital efficiency and business cases, and lead end-to-end RFPs, procurement, and deal negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and run the company P&L, forecasting, and long-range growth models; own the operating plan and close-to-forecast variance analysis.
•Drive unit economics and product finance—analyze LTV, CAC, LTV:CAC, ARPU, contribution margin, payback, and cohort retention to identify growth and pricing opportunities.
•Lead RFP, procurement, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor/partner management for new services and partnerships.
•Lead and develop the analytics/BI, Fractional CFO, and Controller functions to deliver reliable reporting and a single source of truth.
•Partner with the CEO and executives on capital efficiency, resource allocation, new-product business cases, and capital strategy.

Key Requirements

•8–15+ years combining investment banking/PE/growth equity/top-tier consulting with operating strategic finance/FP&A/bizops in a high-growth (100%+ YoY) consumer fintech, ideally Series B→C/D.
•Hands-on experience personally building financial models and owning unit economics for subscription and/or transaction/interchange businesses.
•Deep fluency in fintech/PFM & neobank unit economics (e.g., LTV:CAC, CAC payback, ARPU, contribution margin, cohort analysis).
•Data-native skills with strong SQL/warehouse workflows and the ability to run and level up an analytics/BI team.
•Commercial/deal chops: led RFP → procurement → negotiation and can quantify the economics captured.
