Key Responsibilities

  • •Work within lesson frameworks set by the assigned teacher and Head of Inclusion/SENCO, supporting named student(s) in lessons and providing feedback on learning and behaviour.
  • •Supervise and facilitate individual support aligned to IEP/pupil passport targets, ensuring safety and access to learning activities.
  • •Provide informal feedback to the named student on progress and achievement under the guidance of the teacher.
  • •Record and share with the teacher and supporting professionals concerns and positive feedback about student welfare and achievements.
  • •Communicate effectively with parents via emails and reports based on IEP/pupil passport targets and outcomes, and maintain the related documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience or aptitude working with students with special educational needs, with previous teaching or teaching assistant experience essential.
  • •SEND qualification.
  • •High levels of written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • •Enthusiasm, commitment and aptitude for working with students.
  • •Good team player who can work well as part of a team.
