Job Summary

Lead and continuously improve the Environmental Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS) for NBCUniversal across the EMEA region. Partner with business leaders to deliver the health and safety strategy, manage documentation, audit compliance to legal and company requirements, and drive improvements through incident investigations, risk assessments, contractor pre-qualification, and safety training/meetings. Support emergency response and coordinate weekly EHS reporting to the International EHS Director, including Gensuite metric maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the EHSMS by reviewing, updating, and implementing health and safety documentation and improving the EHSMS compliance score.
•Support development and delivery of the health and safety strategy across the EMEA region and work with business leaders to meet EHS goals.
•Run or participate in emergency evacuation drills and update emergency information and signage.
•Pre-qualify and approve contractors; review contractors’ risk assessments and method statements for work at NBCUniversal premises.
•Investigate major incidents, report them to Corp EHS and external agencies, and monitor EHS metrics (including Gensuite) to drive improvement plans.

Key Requirements

•NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
•Manage and continuously improve an Environmental Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS), including documentation and compliance performance.
•Conduct risk assessments and review risk assessments and method statements for contractors and outside vendors.
•Lead accident investigations, including logging incidents, determining root causes, and defining corrective actions.
•Maintain EHS training matrices and coordinate training/induction for first aid, fire wardens, and other site requirements.
