Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive product from the press, stack/place on pallets, print pallet labels, and verify job docket information for correct setup.
  • •Ensure correct loading/material handling and maintain job quality by reviewing for accuracy and informing operators of any problems.
  • •Perform downtime duties such as webbing the press, cleaning the press area, and assisting operators when the press is down.
  • •Complete make-ready and roll stand tasks including purging stacks/tables, changing impression rollers, handling cylinders/pumps/print unit cassettes, and preparing doctor blades.
  • •If applicable, operate forklift equipment for safe material movement, loading/unloading, recording paperwork, and supporting press operation with scheduled materials and waste removal.

Key Requirements

  • •High School diploma (or GED) plus one to three years of related production experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability to perform production tasks safely.
  • •Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (standing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling/crouching, climbing) as required.
  • •Ability to rotate shifts and work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when needed to meet production demands.
