Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and review electrical engineering design documentation for electrical systems and equipment.
  • •Progress and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to incorporation.
  • •Complete JORN sustainment engineering changes and support fault diagnosis for system outages.
  • •Conduct system safety assessments using hazard identification and analysis processes.
  • •Support ILS assessments and contribute to planning, risk management, product safety, quality and SHE.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering with a background in RF or related technologies.
  • •Understanding of requirements analysis, design, verification, and other systems engineering principles.
  • •Experience developing electrical equipment designs, participating in design reviews, and implementing electrical solutions.
  • •Working towards Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and professional engineering registration if applicable.
  • •Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain an NV1 clearance (Australian citizenship required).
