Key Responsibilities

  • •Build trusted relationships and a robust network with strategic contacts in donor and external institutions, including G7/G20 governments, to support effective policy and funding cooperation.
  • •Monitor and analyze global health and international development developments relevant to Unitaid’s strategic priorities.
  • •Support and coordinate engagement with external stakeholders by preparing materials for meetings, joint activities, and high-level events, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • •Track partner activities, commitments, and collaboration opportunities, and contribute to the development of strategic engagement plans.
  • •Prepare written materials (briefing notes, talking points, concept notes, and inputs to reports) for the Unitaid Board and governance committees, and support the Next Generation Financing agenda.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in external relations or partnerships in an international context, including engaging government officials, parliamentarians, civil society, and other development actors to increase funding and financial flows.
  • •At least 2 years of experience related to public health.
  • •Proven ability to prepare strategic written materials such as briefing notes and concept notes.
  • •Experience organizing high-level or multistakeholder events.
  • •University degree in international relations, political science, development studies, or a related field (with training in partnership development or strategic planning as a plus).
